The Savoy offers its guests accessible accommodation on the Isle of Wight.
Cottages have been designed generally to conform with the latest building regulations for accessibility and in line with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.
Key Accessibility Features:
- Level entry paths and threshold for access from allocated car spaces adjacent to the Cottage. The car spaces have a hard standing and are enlarged for unloading requirements.
- Enlarged bedrooms to enable wheelchair manoeuvring, with wider door openings for entry.
- Specialist kitchen furniture has been supplied to enable independent use of the facility for wheelchair users.
- Bathrooms fitted in accordance with the latest building regulations and includes grab rails and alarm chords for independent use within the Cottage.
- A ramped access to the lower rear garden is provided from the terrace deck.
